Gear Up Girl 2017 60 km route
Registrations are now open for Gear Up Girl, a Bicycle NSW initiative, run with the support of the Heart Foundation.
Research shows that only 26% percent of riders in NSW are women, a statistic we all want to drastically change.
In 2017, Gear Up Girl will attract 1,500+ women participating in either a 20km 40km or 60km ride.

On Saturday 29 March, Bike Marrickville is leading its famous Chocolate and Fine Food Ride to encourage shopping locally and sustainable transport.
Refuelling stops at TIM Products, Casa Del Gelato, Georgiou’s Confectionery and more.
Meet 8:45 for a 9am start at Petersham Station (southern side, outside RSL club). Finish back in Petersham at 12:30.
An EASY ride (mostly 10 minutes riding then 10 minutes eating…) suitable for all.

Running since 2003, the Parramatta Heritage Ride is a fascinating exploration of Parramatta’s remarkable historical buildings.
Home to the three oldest buildings in Australia, the Parramatta Heritage Ride reveals the story of Parramatta and the European colony in a way no other event can. An intriguing commentary weaves the buildings with events and characters, telling the story of how Parramatta, Sydney, and indeed Australia, developed into the thriving places that they are today.
The leisurely ride takes around 3.5 hours, and is about 17km long. A mixture of on-road, off-road and cyclepath riding feature.
