Liverpool BUG Meeting – date change

The next LiveBUG meeting is 6:00 pm Tues 25 February at Liverpool Hospital.

We’ll be discussing our autumn and winter rides and our project to review the Liverpool Bike Plan.

Gillian sent me the details of a safety issue on the M4 SUP. If you’re coming along the M4 SUP and get to Goode Street, watch out for the dodgy redesign of the crossing. Some bright spark thought pushing us further up the road then having to cross on a raised bump was a good idea. Even better was the hard right turn to get back on the footpath to the SUP only to encounter a nasty drop off into a deep gutter. See photo attached. I’ve raised a Snap, Send, Solve report asking for them to, at least, extend the metal grid to avoid the drop off. No lights under the bridge. I can see a cyclist or even a stroller being caught out and possibly being tossed onto the road into oncoming traffic. ... See MoreSee Less
