Social distancing while cycling.

These are some suggestions on social distancing while cycling.
Keeping a gap of at least 1.5 metres between riders, including while stopped at intersections.
Consider limiting group size to allow distance between riders - larger groups can be run in smaller groups if required.
That people with coughs and colds do not participate;
That you carry a personal size hand sanitiser in your jersey or first aid kit;
Participants in rides will not be required to sign on individually (and thereby share a pen and be in close contact with each other);
Participants will give their details verbally to the ride leader who will enter them on to the sign on sheet; The rides leader will tick that the person is present.
Ride leaders will endeavour to replace traditional coffee breaks with stops in parks or other similar open spaces; participants are encouraged to bring their own refreshments.
Or if optional coffee stops are included, choose ones where social distance can be managed eg that have outdoor seating or option to order takeaway that can be taken to a nearby outdoor area, with perhaps only one or two riders putting in the order for the group eg not everyone lining up together.
